For Students

You’re curious about the world, unafraid to push your limits and explore the unfamiliar. These qualities will serve you well in this era of globalization, marked by complex and growing connections across societies.

The Principal Center for Global Citizenship offers programming and resources to hone your intercultural skills, satisfy your curiosity, and prepare you for professional success.

Student Conference Fund

The Center provides funding for current undergraduate and graduate students to attend regional and national conferences that focus on global or international topics. This opportunity has recently been expanded — please check out our new guidelines, process, and increased funding!

Global Curriculum

Students interested in pursuing an academic major, minor or concentration related to international topics may reference the Office of Global Engagement's overview of global curriculum.

Global Citizenship Award

The Center sponsors an annual award recognizing one current Drake student for their outstanding global and intercultural competency.

Global Leaders Corps

The Global Leaders Corps program immerses students in unique global opportunities on campus and beyond, including a semester abroad, assisting with international events, and engaging with a peer group of like-minded and motivated leaders.
