Purchasing and Transporting Chemicals

Purchasing Chemicals

As you prepare to begin your laboratory work, you may need to order chemicals and other materials.

Some items you might need, biological materials, certain chemicals of interest and explosives, may require special permits and authorizations before you can place an order. Review section B of the CHP for more information.

 

Transporting Chemicals

Transport hazardous materials in a planned, safe manner: Place bottles into shock-resistant containers, such as safety bottle carriers. Never transport any hazardous materials in your personal vehicle.
