Awards

The Center for the Humanities sponsors two awards annually:

• The Edward C. Truman Award confers a $500 award to recognize an outstanding student of the humanities among Drake undergraduates not yet in the fourth year of study.
• The Humanities Research Scholar Award offers a robust program of research, stipendiary, and course-reassignment support for a major humanities research project over three years.
