We welcome prospective and admitted students to join us for on-campus visits to Drake Law School. We will also continue to offer virtual appointments. Please see information below to schedule your visit. We look forward to meeting with you!

Drake Law School is located on a beautiful campus in the middle of Des Moines—a growing, bustling city with music, sports, locally-owned restaurants and pubs, bike trails, and more.

We are also only five minutes away from the Iowa State Capitol, providing numerous opportunities for internships, clerkships, and more.

On-Campus Visit

We are pleased to offer visits for prospective students, applicants, and admitted students.

During your on-campus visit, we invite you to tour the law school with a current student, meet with an admission counselor, observe a class, and/or meet with a faculty member in your area of interest.

You can register for a campus visit using this Campus Visit Registration Form.

Two business days are required to set up an on-campus visit, however, one-week advanced notice is preferred so we may coordinate scheduling with law student tour guides.

Drake Law School Open House - Friday, October 10, 1:00pm Central

We are pleased to invite any prospective law school students to the Drake Law School Open House on Friday, October 10 at 1:00pm Central. This event is intended for students that are looking to enroll in the Fall of 2026 or 2027. During the Open House you will hear from Admissions staff, the Dean of the Law School, some of our current students, and more! Please use the link above to register!

Virtual Appointments

In addition to on-campus visits, we are pleased to offer virtual appointments for applicants and admitted students.

During your virtual appointment, you will have the opportunity to speak with an admission counselor to learn more about Drake Law School and have your admission and financial aid questions answered.
