University Ceremony - December 12, 2020
On Oct. 22, Drake University announced the difficult decision to cancel its December commencement exercises as a result of the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus pandemic. In place of its traditional ceremonies, the University held a virtual commencement celebration to recognize undergraduates and graduates of the Class of 2020.
Law School Ceremony - Friday, May 14, 2021, at 7 p.m. in the Knapp Center.
We look forward to an in-person celebration of our May 2021 and May, August, and December 2020 law school graduates.
At 6 p.m. law school graduates are to line up alphabetically in the Opperman/Cartwright halls. The bagpiper processional will begin at 6:40 p.m. Doors open to guests at 6 p.m. All guests are to have ticket confirmation with them upon entering the Knapp Center.
Lifetouch Special Events Photography will photograph each graduate who crosses the platform during the commencement ceremony. Go to https://events.lifetouch.com/drake for information about commencement photographs.
