The Leader Digital Magazine

The 2021 Cohort of the Mandela Washington Fellowship was virtual due to COVID-19. This inspired some unique and unconventional opportunities for connecting with one another virtually.

One of Drake's 2021 Mandela Washington Fellows, Ben Jammaine Ncube from Zimbabwe, was inspired to create The Leader digital magazine as a tool to aid in virtual networking among the Fellows from his country. He later expanded this project to include other Drake Institute Fellows from across the African continent. Below is a selection of profiles of Drake Institute Fellows.
