Pre-Engineering
Pre-Engineering
PROGRAM OVERVIEW Drake University offers a dual-degree cooperative engineering program with Washington University in Saint Louis. Students interested in the program can choose from either a 3+3 or 4+3 Dual Degree option. Students interested must consult with the chair of the department before registration.
Students at Drake will complete all the requirements for a Drake B.S. or B.A. degree (any major, although STEM fields are most common) and the required pre-engineering curriculum. Then, upon satisfactory completion of the coursework, students can transfer to Washington University to finish a program in an engineering field of their choice. Ultimately, students earn three degrees: one from Drake (undergraduate) and two from Washington University (B.S./M.S. in Engineering).
Engineering Degree Options include:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Systems Science and Engineering
Students are eligible for financial aid at both institutions.
