Theatre Directing (Minor)

PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Directing program provides students the requisite skills and experience necessary to direct a theatrical production. Students apply their knowledge in classroom directing assignments, and working alongside faculty directors as assistant directors. In addition, upperclass students have the opportunity to submit proposals to direct both Student Theatre Production and main stage productions as part of the Drake Theatre season. This minor is available to students who are working towards either a B.A. or a B.F.A. degree from the Department of Theatre Arts.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR A minor in Theatre-Directing is available to students who are working towards either a B.A. or a B.F.A. degree from the Department of Theatre Arts. A minimum of 26 credit hours is required for the Theatre-Directing minor.
