Recreation Fest & Services Fair

Learn about the different resources that Drake students have access to while also completing carnival-style games! Some of the departments attending will be Recreational Services, Career Services, Global Engagement, Alumni Relations, and many more. Check it out! 

Root Beer Floats, ft. Sodexo

Celebrate the start of the semester with a root beer float, provided by Sodexo catering! Students who join in on the fun will receive their root beer float in a special Welcome Back Week cup, while supplies last!

Sand Volleyball & Capture the Flag 

Goodwin-Kirk Volleyball Court, 3:30pm 

Join the Office of Residence Life and Resident Assistants for fun games of sand volleyball and capture the flag! Stick around afterwards and take a walk over to Black Cat Ice Cream, a local handmade ice cream shop in the Drake neighborhood!

Drake University has “adopted” the first-grade class at Findley Elementary School, and we have an opportunity to welcome them and their families to first grade at “Back to School Night.” Join the Office of Community Engaged Learning to Interact with the kids and families, hand out Bulldog crowns, and more.
