Drake’s College of Business and Public Administration waives admission test requirements for graduate programs

Monday, March 22nd, 2021

Drake University’s College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) will waive entrance exam requirements for all graduate programs in Summer and Fall 2021 semesters.

The CBPA suspended its admission exam requirement for the Spring 2021 semester in response to the pandemic, which has made it challenging for many graduate candidates to access testing centers due to restrictions and closures. The waiver will continue through the Summer and Fall 2021 semesters.

“We don’t want to hinder students during an already difficult time,” said Danette Kenne, assistant dean of graduate and professional programs. “We want to do whatever we can to help them continue on their path to success.”

Programs that no longer require a standardized test score to apply include Drake’s Master of Accounting, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science in Business Analytics. Candidates are admitted based on several other factors, including career experience, letters of recommendation, an essay, and GPA.
