Dr. Migunov received his Ph.D. in computer science from Iowa State University in 2022, where he also received his undergraduate degree. His research is in computability and randomness, as well as analog computation. He loves teaching theory and enjoys thinking about which things in our world compute without really looking like computers - for example, our cells. How do our theories about certain notions - like randomness - change as we change the meaning of 'computation'?
