The workshop fee of $295 includes an opportunity to work with professional musicians for five days in a variety of settings including:
Small combo rehearsals
Masterclasses and sectionals with faculty
Theory/composition classes
Improvisation classes
Listening classes
Daily jam sessions with faculty
Please note, this is a commuter workshop; room and board are not offered. Except for the Friday evening performances, all classes will be held on the Drake University campus between 9 am and 5 pm. Each day, please bring a sack lunch to eat on campus. With exception of keyboards and vibraphones, students need to provide their own equipment. Guitarists and bass players need to bring an amp. Drummers must bring their own cymbals.
