Finance majors are encouraged to participate in research and to gain experience through internships. Des Moines is a major hub of the financial services industry, providing countless opportunities for learning and internships. Virtually all juniors and seniors are placed in a desired internship, which include positions in the financial services industry and in corporate financial management. Internships vary in length and the type of work performed by the student.
