Drake Law hosts an annual career fair for governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations. Students have a chance to visit on an informal basis and learn about great summer and post-graduate opportunities. FEBRUARY
NDAA 2025 Job Fair
February 1-2, 2025
The National District Attorneys Association 2025 Job Fair is an exciting opportunity to meet a number of prosecuting agencies seeking to hire persons for entry-level and lateral positions as well as internship opportunities.
Justice-driven students and attorneys who have a passion for advocating for the rights of all involved in the criminal justice system should attend. An opening night networking reception will take place on Saturday, February 1 for employers and job seekers. Law students/job seekers are encouraged to register by Friday, January 24, 2025.

Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference (MPILCC)

The Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference (MPILCC), the largest public interest legal job fair in the Midwest, enables employers from public interest and government organizations to meet with J.D. students for a day of interviews and informal networking. MPILCC is open to students from law schools in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Each year, MPILCC attracts over 50 employers for on-site interviews, the Table Talk networking program, and resume solicitation. From over fifteen hundred student registrants, almost 300 students representing about 40 law schools attend the conference. The conference is free to employers and students.
This year the conference is entirely virtual. MPILCC will provide the software and platform for video interviews.
Sports Industry Networking and Career Conference

At SINC students will connect with friends and colleagues, and meet sports industry professionals in a buzzing, high-energy setting designed specifically for peer-to-peer networking.

The National Association of Counsel for Children will host a virtual career fair on March 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on March 7.
The Virtual Career Fair is designed for law students to find internships at organizations and law offices practicing child welfare.

2025 Spring Defender Career Fest

The Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy (“DPA”) invites third-year law students interested in making a difference in the lives of indigent Kentuckians facing criminal legal charges to apply to attend the March 2025 Defender Career Fest. Interviews and information sessions will take place on Saturday, March 8th. Following online interviews, strong candidates will be invited to travel to Kentucky to meet with our office staff and learn more about public defense in Kentucky. DPA will cover the costs of travel, hotel, and meals. The priority deadline is Saturday, February 15th. Applications received after that date will be reviewed.

Loyola University Patent Law Interview Program

Each summer this program brings together patent law employers, 2L and 3L students, and LL.M. students in intellectual property programs. The program is entirely employer-selected with most employers preferring patent bar eligible students. There is a student registration fee to complete online registration. NACC’s Child Welfare Law Career Fair promotes careers in child welfare law offices and agencies for law students, recent grads, and new attorneys. Additionally, the Career Fair offers the opportunity to network with NACC members and law office leaders from across the country.

Equal Justice Works Conference & Career Fair

This is the nation’s largest public interest career fair, with more than 1,200 students and 160 employers. The event includes interviews, workshops on public interest careers, job search advice, networking, resume and cover letter review, mock interviews, and more. Employers conduct interviews for internships and full-time jobs and meet with students in informal "table talk" discussions of public interest legal opportunities.
Student and recent graduate registration for this year’s virtual career fair (October 9-11, 2024) will open on August 1 at 12:00 p.m. ET. The registration fee for this year’s event is $25.00 (this is a non-refundable fee). Only those students and recent graduates from an Equal Justice Works member law school are eligible to participate in this event.
