Drake Law School invites law firms and other legal employers to participate in our fall and spring on-campus interview (OCI) programs.
The CDO advertises opportunities and collects resumes. Employers review resumes in advance and select students to interview. All of this can be done electronically. Drake provides interview rooms, free parking, and lunch. There is no lottery, all interviews are pre-selected by employers. Employers select a date to conduct on campus interviews.
We welcome employers to campus to conduct interviews at any time. If your interview schedule is outside the formal OCI period, contact the CDO to make arrangements.
Our resume collection service, along with our job posting service, provides convenient, time-saving alternatives for employers who are unable to visit campus.
Employers can register for the resume collection program in the same manner as they would for the on-campus interview program. Employers utilizing the job posting service through Symplicity can also opt to collect application materials online and have one application packet sent to you at the close of the application period.
Interview Facilities – All employers are welcome to schedule a time to use our interview facilities for student interviews, available year-round. Simply contact our office for more information.
Video Conferencing – Recognizing that it is not always possible or practical for employers to travel to campus, video and phone conferencing facilities are available.
Engage with Students - Employers interact with Drake Law students through many CDO events and programs outside the interview process. Information sessions, mock interviews, networking events, and mentorship opportunities are just a few of the ways that employers get to know Drake Law students. Contact the CDO to learn more about these opportunities.
