Adams 1: Personal Practices of Leadership

Adams 1: Personal Practices of Leadership (8 weeks)

  • Audience: First year + sophomore Institute members
  • Schedule: Mondays or Tuesdays (4-5pm or 5-6pm)

Before you lead others effectively, you must lead yourself. This introductory training equips students to build personal skills and practices that promote positivity and wellbeing as a foundation from which to lead effectively. Students leave Adams 1 with a personalized leadership action plan to develop habits, routines, and relationships worth following. Prepare for your future leadership roles by gaining tangible tools to build your self-awareness and lead effectively as a college student.

Adams 1 meets for one hour each week for eight weeks. Four sections of Adams 1 are offered every fall and spring semester.
