The marketing major provides both a theoretical understanding and a managerial perspective. Our curriculum exposes you to the diversity of marketing activities and provides an understanding of marketing’s interaction with other areas of an organization.
Courses in the major develop an understanding of marketing strategies, the process of exchange, and the role of relevant information in decision-making. Experience with diagnosing and analyzing marketing problems as well as developing and implementing courses of action is emphasized.
As a Drake marketing major, you will have the opportunity to tailor your program to your interests by selecting a marketing track from integrated marketing communications, marketing management, marketing analysis and research, sales and sales management, or a custom option.
