Pappajohn Student Venture Competition- Win $5,000!

Open to all majors and all experience levels. Idea-stage welcome.

• Test your idea in a low-pressure environment
• Get real feedback from experienced judges
• Build something resume-worthy
• Win cash and represent Drake at the statewide competition

Step 1: Submit Deliverables – Due March 13

• Filled out application- name/address/business name
• Executive Summary- Simple Fillable PDF laying out your idea
• Simple Financial Statement- Plug in standard cost estimates and calculate your 3-year revenue projections
• Business Model Canvas- Easy read out of your business plan (descriptions provided)

Step 2: Pitch Day – March 25 (Scheduled after your application is received)

• 5-minute pitch (slide deck encouraged)
• 5-minute judge Q&A

Step 3: Win & Advance

• 3 winners receive $500 each
• Winners advance to the statewide competition on April 10
• Chance to win $5,000
