Majors & Minors

The Theatre Arts Department offers five different Bachelor of Fine Arts degree track options that will prepare students for a life in the profession.

Students wishing to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in performance (Acting, Musical Theatre, Directing or Teacher Certification) must audition for admission into the program. Students wishing to pursue a B.F.A. degree in Design and Technology must interview and present their portfolio for admission into the program.

The department also offers the B.A. in Theatre for those students wanting a second major in a different subject area. Common second majors include Business, English, Graphic Design or Psychology.
