Conducting research is great, but it doesn’t do much good if others don’t know about it. That is why the ability to communicate your discoveries is a vital skill as a scientist.
The Drake University Conference on Undergraduate Research in the Sciences (DUCURS) provides the opportunity to practice that skill and share the outcomes of your research with the Drake community and the public through poster and oral presentations. Regional collaborators in industry, Iowa government, and business often attend the presentations.
The Drake University Science Collaborative Institute sponsors the DUCURS, which is held annually during spring semester.
