Conducting research is important, but so is sharing it with other scholars in your field.
The Drake University Social Science Journal gives you an opportunity to publish your research in the areas of economics, history and politics, international relations, psychology, and culture and society. Having your research published as an undergraduate is not only great for your resume but will also give you an advantage when applying to graduate school.
In addition to submitting your research for publication, you can apply to be a member of the editorial board, which is comprised of students from each of the social science majors. In reviewing articles for publication, board members develop their own skills in research writing and protocol.
The journal is published each spring on the Drake University Social Science Journal website.
