Teaching Philosophy

My primary teaching philosophy is to foster diverse learning in students by creating a safe environment that accounts for different learning styles and types of students. I aim to prepare my students to be effective clinicians within the modern healthcare system. I strive to accomplish this by incorporating the Institute of Medicine core competencies into education. Further, I try to accommodate different learning styles and make students feel comfortable discussing course content.
