The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences has over 25 student organizations and college committees. These groups range from student government, professional organizations and fraternities, honorary societies, committees, and more. Membership in organizations and committees is a great way for students to develop leadership skills, become well-rounded professionals, and give back to the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the community.
The DELTA Rx Institute is meant to instill a spirit of change and innovation. Special programming for students includes Entrepreneurial Summer Internships, DELTA Rx Internships, the Next Top Entrepreneurial Competition, and more.
The SLDS is designed for aspiring student leaders within the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The series consists of small group activities and discussions, guest speakers, the development of a leadership platform, and the completion of a leadership project. Through these activities, students develop core competencies identified as essential leadership skills and qualities.
The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences fosters a culture of research among students. Across the undergraduate and graduate programs, students have opportunities to work closely with faculty on independent research projects and potentially co-author publications or present the research at local, national, and international conferences and meetings.
