Background:

Charlie serves as Vice-President and General Counsel for Hartig Drug Company, a regional pharmacy chain located in the Midwest.  He provides general legal support to the organization’s community pharmacy, long-term care, pharmacy benefits management, 340B, and wholesale business divisions.

Previously, Charlie was Senior Legal Counsel for CVS Health. In that capacity, he advised senior management on matters relating to CVS Health’s Corporate Integrity Agreement, health care compliance, FWA laws, and state and federal pharmacy laws. Charlie also served as Regulatory Compliance Counsel at Omnicare, Inc. reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that, Charlie worked for Express Scripts as a registered pharmacist supplying traditional and specialty pharmaceutical products. He graduated with honors from both Drake University (PharmD) and Saint Louis University (JD), where he also received a Certificate in Health Law.
