Background:
Crystal Lennartz is currently the Health Mart Chief Pharmacist for McKesson Corporation’s independent pharmacy franchise of over 4,600 stores. Prior to her current role she served as Director of Clinical Development and Manager of Operational Development for Health Mart. She is passionate about helping independent owners understand and improve their pharmacy performance and profitability.

Prior to joining McKesson she served as Director, Continuing Education for Drug Store News, where she was responsible for the development of continuing education and custom education solutions for retailers including a primarily web-based Immunization Administration Training for Pharmacists. Prior to coming to Drug Store News, Crystal was Manager of Pharmacy Practice and Operations for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS). She was responsible for pharmacy practice issues including pharmacist provided services such as immunizations and medication therapy management. Prior to NACDS, Crystal worked for SUPERVALU Pharmacies where she was Manager of Wellness Services and Manager, Adult Immunization Program. She had also previously held positions as a Residency Preceptor, MTM Specialist and Immunization Trainer for Albertsons in their Chicago area stores.

Crystal graduated from Drake University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration after which she completed an APhA-ASHP Accredited Residency in Pharmacy Practice with emphasis in Community Care with Albertsons/Osco Drug and Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy.
