Background:

Dan Lewis, MBA, PharmD, is a Clinical Account Executive at UCB. Inc. In the pharmaceutical industry for the last 15 years (UCB, Takeda, Fujisawa), he has been responsible for managed care account management, contract negotiation, and managed care marketing. In his current position at UCB, Lewis works with infusion and in-office practices that provide direct patient care, in a three-state area. 

Lewis also spent 10 years in managed care Pharmacy Director roles at Ochsner Health Plan and at Dean Health Plan. He had numerous responsibilities with these plans, including formulary development and management, network development, rebate contracting, specialty pharmacy management, and utilization management.
