Center for the Humanities

The Center for the Humanities sponsors small conferences, lecture series, the Iowa Humanities Festival, and the Humanities Colloquium in addition to providing faculty grants.

Eligibility

Resources
The Center offers grants to support faculty research and creative activity, public programming, professional development, and teaching development in humanities-related fields. Faculty may apply for funds to underwrite the costs of research travel, research materials and services, visiting speakers, engagement in humanities leadership activities, course re-assignment, and sabbatical support.
