What has been your favorite thing about this Internship Experience?

Completing my senior internship experience at Iowa Public Health Association was nothing short of amazing. I created and maintained meaningful connections with colleagues, worked passionately on projects and watched them all come to fruition, and grew and molded into the professional I have always aspired to be.

What made you choose Drake and the Health Sciences program?

I chose Drake because when I stepped onto campus for the very first time, I felt a strong sense of home. Consequently, I chose the Health Sciences program because I felt it would best prepare me academically for attending a professional healthcare program in the future.

What are your career goals and plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to attend Midwestern University in Illinois to earn a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences. This will serve as a stepping stone in my journey of pursuing a dental career, specifically as an orthodontist.
