The Compliance and Risk Management Certificate is designed for students who wish to explore and practice in the areas of compliance and risk management.

To earn the Compliance and Risk Management Certificate, students must complete 22 academic credits of required and elective courses through Drake Law School and Drake’s College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA).
Administrative Law (3 credits)
Business Associations (4 credits)
Law of Compliance and Risk Management (3 credits)
Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (3 credits) (CBPA course)
Operational Risk Management (3 credits) (CBPA course)
Students must also complete 6 credits of courses in a highly regulated field (to be approved by the program director). Elective courses are available in the areas of health law, business law, agricultural and environmental law, and more.
