Your UPS/FedEx deliveries should have your actual building address listed, and will generally be delivered directly from UPS/FedEx.

Your incoming USPS mail can either be addressed to your building address, or the main University address - when possible, please use your building address to ensure accurate delivery.  If mail is first routed to the mailroom,  we will deliver to your building during our next mail route.

For residential students we recommend sending all of your mail to the following address:

For Faculty/Staff we recommend using your building/department's physical address for all mail. As an example if you were working in Meredith hall you would use the following address.

Drake Postal Operations must receive your outgoing mail no later than 2:45 p.m. each day. Outgoing USPS mail leaves campus at 3:00 p.m.

The current price of a USPS First Class postage stamp is $0.55.

UPS and USPS packages can all be dropped off at Drake Postal Operations located in the lower level of Olmsted before 3:00 p.m. each weekday. FedEx packages will need to be brought to the nearest FedEx OnSite drop off. We will get the packages to the correct drivers as quickly as possible, however, same day pickup is not guaranteed.  If you are needing to get your package sent out quickly, we advise the following:

• For UPS, we advise using the drop box outside the entrance of Olmsted Center or the UPS Store in Beaverdale.
• For FedEx we advise going to the Walgreens photo counter at 3030 University Ave, right across from Drake University or a nearby Fedex store.
• For USPS we advise going to the nearest post office at 2323 Forest Ave.
