The National Rehabilitation Institute at Drake University was founded in 1976. Through grants from the Federal Department of Education Rehabilitation Services Administration the Institute awards scholarships and stipends to students who are interested in pursuing degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Scholarship Details
In order to receive a scholarship applicants are required to sign a payback agreement with the Rehabilitation Services Administration that states that they will work in an appropriate setting for a minimum length of time after they graduate. The exact amount of time is based on the amount of assistance they received while in school.
