Spring Orientation Schedule - Friday, January 23, 2026
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Due to dangerously cold temperatures across Iowa and the potential for travel disruptions or school cancellations, Spring Orientation will now take place virtually.
We will meet online Friday, January 23 at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 12:30 p.m. Our goal is to ensure everyone can participate safely while still having a meaningful orientation experience.

9:00 - 9:10am Welcome to the Bulldog Community!
9:10 - 9:40am Drake ITS & Student Services Center Learn how to access and use all of Drake’s technology resources and why they are so important to you. In this session, you will also learn the basic functions of the Student Services Center, such as Drake Card functions, Bulldog Bucks management, and Parking Pass purchases.
9:45 – 10:10am How to be a True Blue Bulldog
Learn about the services and resources that the Professional and Career Development Services office has to offer. In this session, you will also learn about the True Blue Skills that you will gain from being a Drake student.
10:20 - 11:30am Breakout Sessions: Students can select two of the five sessions below. Block 1 will be 10:20am - 10:45am and Block 2 will run 10:50 - 11:15am.

11:30am - 12:30pm - Academic Program Overviews
Students meet with academic representatives in their college or school to increase knowledge on academic policies and procedures, partner with faculty, staff, and peers, and discuss professional and personal goals. Click links below to join your academic meeting.
