Action Items 

  • Send final transcripts to the Registrar's Office once your fall semester grades are recorded. Email transcripts to registrar@drake.edu or by mail to

  • Send AP, IB, or CLEP credits to Drake's Office of the Registrar
  • Review transfer credit information 
  • Start checking your Drake email
  • Change your password from the default password
    • If you haven’t changed your Drake password from the initial default password (your birthdate in MonDD#YYYY format, Example: Jan01#1997), please change your password by going to the Password Manager at https://password.drake.edu. You will also be able to set up recovery options in case you forget your password later.
    • Your initial password will only work to log into the Password manager site. All other Drake systems require an updated and more secure password for access.
  • Update Emergency Contact information by logging into my.drake.edu selecting MyDUSIS and navigating to the personal information tab.
  • Purchase books for spring semester. Learn what course materials are necessary by visiting the Book Store resources.
  • Submit your Medical History form
  • Submit COVID-19 vaccination information 
    • The University strongly encourages all members of the Drake community to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible. If you have questions about the vaccine, please visit the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccination FAQ or email contacttracing@drake.edu. 
    • Once fully vaccinated, upload a photo of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card through the University’s secure online form.  If you have already submitted information to the contact tracing team, you do not need to re-submit. 
  • Submit a photo for your Drake Student ID - email a .jpg photo to studentservices@drake.edu to assist with easy pickup when you get to campus! Please visit the Student Services page for more information. 
  • Learn about the rest of the student tech information you’ll need by going to www.drake.edu/its/students. There you’ll find information including how to connect to the campus wireless network, computer recommendations and discounts, campus printing details, and how to get your game system connected (including requesting a wired connection in your residence hall, if needed).

  • Deposit funds in your Bulldog Bucks account
  • For students who need accommodations: Complete the intake form to start the process for requesting accommodations through Student Disability Services.
  • For students who are interested in working on campus: Login to Handshake, Drake’s electronic job board and look for on-campus job opportunities.
