Drake University offers student-led college tours for high school students in a variety of different visit options that give you the opportunity to see and hear more about Bulldog life. Choose a date and program that works for you!
Want to take part in an action-packed preview of the life of a Drake Bulldog? Campus Preview Programs feature interactions and sessions with faculty, staff and students and also include a Drake overview, student-led Drake University campus tours, Q&A panels, academic overview, lunch and a farewell reception.

Admitted students: this is your day! Students and parents will experience a conference-type format with several concurrent sessions each hour. Navigate your Drake experience! Sessions include academic meetings with faculty, class options, residence and dining hall tours, information break-out sessions on a wide array of Drake programs and services, lunch on campus and much, much more.
Do you have specific people or places you’d like to see during your visit? We can create a personalized, weekday visit agenda for you. You’ll meet with an admission counselor, take a student-led tour, and enjoy lunch on campus. Meetings with specific faculty or staff members can be requested with a week’s notice (for juniors, seniors, and transfer students only).
This includes everything in Your Drake Day visit, plus a Q&A student panel, an academic meeting, lunch and a chance to meet Griff, Drake’s live mascot.
Your day will include a student-led campus tour, lunch, and a meeting with an admission counselor. Academic appointments can be requested up to a week in advance.

Students wishing to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in performance (Acting, Musical Theatre, or Teacher Certification) or a minor in Musical Theatre must audition for admission ino the program.
