COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus—Update from The Office of Admission

The Office of Admission is taking precautions to protect our students, faculty and staff, and prospective students from the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We have updated our visit programs to provide prospective students opportunities to explore Drake remotely. All on-campus group programs and individual visits through August have been canceled or moved online.

Ongoing updates from the University are available on the COVID-19 Response website.

Virtual Program Options

Thinking about transferring colleges? We can help.

Drake University knows what college transfer students need to make a seamless change from there to here. Whether you’re a community college transfer or coming from another four-year school, Drake will connect you with a transfer counselor and financial aid expert and ensure you get support from peers. Check out the visit options tailored for transfer students and come see us.

Personalized Individual Visit

Do you have specific people or places you’d like to see during your visit? We can create a personalized, weekday visit agenda for you. You’ll meet with an admission counselor, take a student-led tour, and enjoy lunch on campus. Meetings with specific faculty or staff members can be requested with a week’s notice (for juniors, seniors, and transfer students only).

Group Preview Program Options

Want to take part in an action-packed preview of the life of a Drake Bulldog? Campus Preview Programs feature interactions and sessions with faculty, staff and students and also include a Drake overview, student-led Drake University campus tours, Q&A panels, academic overview, lunch and a farewell reception.

Can't decide? Have questions? Let's talk.
