Drake Counseling Center: The Drake Counseling Center is a free service available to students which offers confidential counseling for either walk-ins or appointments.

Drake Violence Intervention Partner (VIP): Drake Violence Intervention Parter (VIP) is a student support and advocacy resource for students if they have experienced a sexual assault or incident of dating violence, if they are unsure if what you have experienced is an assault, or if they are having negative feelings about a sexual or dating experience.

Students who need emergency mental health care when the University Counseling Center is closed should call Drake Public Safety at 515-271-2222 or 911.

Broadlawns Urgent Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic: Accepts walk-in appointments for people experiencing exacerbated mental health conditions. Services at the clinic include mental health assessments, medication management, therapeutic counseling and coordination of services for healthcare and basic needs. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
