Alumni Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council

The Drake Law Alumni Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council’s mission is to strengthen and enhance the Law School’s efforts to improve diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on the student experience.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council’s vision is to transform Drake Law School into a more inclusive learning environment and workplace that values and respects all members of our community. 

Our purpose is to improve the student experience and increase perspectives in the next generation of attorneys. We strive to foster and enhance diversity and inclusion throughout the law school process to empower students. We truly believe this will lead to greater equity at Drake University Law School and, as a result, the greater legal community. 

Our Values

The DEI Council’s Values extend beyond Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and include:
