I'm a profoundly hearing impaired University Theatre professor with BAs in Psychology and Communication from Minot State University and an MFA in Theatre Technology, specifically: Costume Design and Construction from University of South Dakota. I teach Costume and Makeup Design and I love my students. I've also taught Intro to Theatre, Fashion History, Mask Making, Patterning, and Stage Management. I have two wonderful, bright, compassionate adult children that I think I managed to not bequeath my family's crazy. I have a fairy-princess-mermaid-dragon for a granddaughter who thinks I'm magic because I can make any clothes she wants. I'm owned by 6 cats with 6 very different personalities, all named after Shakespeare characters. I've lived all over the United States and in Germany because I'm an Air Force brat. I tell awkward, 'funny' stories that people inform me aren't funny at all, but horrifying. I was born the same year the first Star Trek pilot was made, so I can truthfully claim to be a trekkie born. I hope to live to be 100. Sewing makes me happy.
