Dr. Hyejin Park received her doctoral degree in Mathematics Education and a master’s degree in Mathematics, all from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on supporting (prospective and practicing) teachers’ learning about mathematical argumentation and proof.

Her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education and the School Science and Mathematics. Her recent work is developing learning modules that can be used in mathematics education courses for K-8 prospective teachers to promote their knowledge about learning and teaching mathematics, programming and robotics, and proof.

Dr. Park teaches mathematics content and methods courses for elementary and secondary prospective teachers and mathematics courses for non-education majors.
