The Drake campus has contactless card technology. Door access is facilitated for any card access door through Drake Cards. In addition to door access, the Drake Card will also serve as your campus ID and can be used to:
The Student Services Center is normally the location where Drake Cards will be printed and picked up, and any issues with card access or use can be addressed.
To encourage social distancing, we will be allowing photos to be emailed to email@example.com, and pickup can be arranged at a time that is convenient for the cardholder. Please review Online Submission information below for additional guidelines.
ID's are not always able to be printed immediately after registration - please wait to visit the SSC until you are within two weeks of your semester start date to ensure that you have been built into the ID system. Replacement fees for lost cards are $25 and must be paid for when printed.

To allow for social distancing, we are allowing ID photos to be submitted electronically. Email your desired photo (following guidelines listed below) to firstname.lastname@example.org. The photo should be in a .jpg format – photos taken on cell phones are generally fine.
Your image must follow the guidelines listed below. If your photo is not in the correct format, we will request a new submission.
Once your photo has been approved, we will communicate with you about when/where your card can be picked up. You will be required to show a government issued photo ID when you pick up your Drake Card.
During normal office hours contact the Student Services Center (x2000) immediately, after hours contact Public Safety (x2222). During normal office hours, the Student Services Center can inactivate your card temporarily if lost. Cards can also be inactivated through the eAccounts portal - reactivation must be done by the SSC.
Turn in any lost/found cards to the Student Services Center.
