Drake Real Estate offers university‑owned apartments and houses for current Drake students who want to live off campus while staying close to classes, campus resources, and the Dogtown neighborhood. All properties are within walking distance of campus.

Drake Real Estate

We have 1 or 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedroom houses. Each unit is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, blinds, and parking. All other furnishings are the responsibility of the tenant. Lawn care and snow removal of driveway are provided by Drake University. All homes are patrolled by campus security and maintained by Drake Property Management and Drake Facilities.

Current Residents

All rent is due on or before the first of the month. After the 5th day of any month, rent will be considered late. 

Rent can be paid in the following ways:

  • Cash, money order, or personal check mailed or dropped off at the Cashier's Office.
  • Credit card payment: Cashier's Office please call  515-271-3805.
  • Having trouble paying rent? Contact Brandi Wright, property manager, to discuss.
