Video Correspondence Courses for Coaches and Physical Educators

These unique self-paced, DVD courses are designed for busy coaches. You have up to one-year to complete the course(s). You may take the full year to complete the course(s), or you may submit your work whenever you have completed it during that year!
These courses are offered each Spring, Summer and Fall semsters here at Drake.

Summer Registration will be open May 1 through August 21, 2019!

Technology Requirements: A personal computer or laptop (coursework is not compatible with mobile devices such as tablets and cell phones), Microsoft Word, a DVD player, and a personal e-mail address (school e-mails are not recommended due to school district firewalls).

Students will receive a link to download course documents in an email sent via our registration system, Learningstream. Please look for this email.

Tax Information: Students taking EDMA courses through Continuing Education and Professional Development during the 2018 calendar year will receive a 1098T tuition form. It is available for viewing in myDrake. Questions related to the 1098T tuition form should be directed to Student Account Services, (515) 271-2151, Option 4.

Important Transcript Information: The official semester designation on your transcript will be the semester in which you register/enroll for a video course. The official transcript will list the course and grade in the semester in which you register/enroll for a course, not the semester in which completed coursework is submitted.

Credit Limit: You may enroll in a maximum of 12 credit hours in one semester through Continuing Education & Professional Development.

Continuing Education Credit: Students seeking to use Real Coaching Courses for recertification or salary advancement should seek prior approval from their school district or appropriate licensing agency.
