Course Eligibility Criteria

Individuals who perform HR duties and wish to verify, validate, enhance and/or expand their HR capabilities are likely candidates for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.  SHRM membership is not required for eligibility and individuals need not be employed at the time they apply. Click here for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP HR Certification eligibility criteria.

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Exam Pass Rate

The pass rate of the last three Drake University SHRM exam prep classes has been 95% (for those who have taken the exam in the window immediately following the class).

Exam Testing Schedule

Exams are offered during the following timeframes:

• Window 1 (May 1 – July 15, 2023) 
• Window 2 (December 1 – February 15, 2024)
