Course Overview

3 Semester Hours of Credit

Basketball Coaching Methods is designed to help high school level coaches identify and express their individual coaching philosophies. You will be challenged to evaluate your own communication and motivational skills by examining how some of the top coaches in the profession function and run their respective teams. We will look at cutting edge teaching techniques, as well as principles that have proven successful over decades. We will break down some of the most successful systems and ideas that are currently being executed by many of the nation's most successful coaches.
