Notes

  1. Evening courses are those that begin at 5:00pm or later.
  2. All other classes should begin at one of these standardized times.
  3. Those classes such as science labs, art studios, and journalism classes which typically meet for 3-hour blocks will need to begin at one of the standardized times to allow students to schedule other classes around the lab times.
  4. Every attempt should be made to prevent a scheduled course from using more than two or three consecutive standard time slots (i.e., if a class wishes to meet for three hours one afternoon, it should meet from 2-4:50pm as opposed to 1:30-4:30pm, which uses four time slots).
  5. Requests for consolidated final exams should be made at the time each semester's schedule is being built to facilitate optimal space usage during final evaluation week.
