The Catalyst Fund was created by a group of faculty committed to advancing the goals of equity and inclusion at Drake University. This is a restricted, non-endowed scholarship and emergency fund for students at Drake.

Catalyst Scholarships will be awarded to students who fulfill the following two criteria: 1) demonstrated financial need; and 2) membership in a historically and/or currently underrepresented group. Examples of underrepresented groups include domestic students of color, undocumented immigrants, refugees, and first generation college students. Annual scholarships will be awarded to a student for the duration of their undergraduate career, based on availability of funds and after fundraising goals have been met.

Catalyst Emergency Funds will also be available (as a proportion of the total Catalyst Fund each year) for students satisfying the criteria above and facing unexpected costs that might prevent them from continuing their education at Drake.

You can make your online gift using the form below.  If you would like to make a gift and a pledge, please submit the form for each transaction. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you live outside the U.S. please please contact Pam Pepper at pam.pepper@drake.edu for more information on how to make an online gift. Thank you.
