Tours are an important tool for continuing Drake’s educational and performance mission as well as providing a way for our choir members to bond with one another.
Each year, Drake Choir's Regional Tour remains one of the most important recruitment tools we have at our disposal in the Music Department. These tours allow us to interact with multiple secondary schools as well as give concerts in surrounding rural and metropolitan areas. Every four years, Drake Choirs also take on an International Tour. Through generous and established endowed funds, Drake Music Department offers support to the singers, but much of the financial burden of these tours are placed upon individual students. Financial difficulties arise for many families who greatly desire this opportunity for their son or daughter.
