The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Drake University welcomes your support of its many activities. In its new home at the top floor of Collier-Scripps Hall, the department has recently launched an undergraduate research initiative with over 40 undergraduates participating in at least one faculty-led research group and is seeking to broaden its technological base.
Contributions towards the Department of Math and Computer Science helps to support (1) our general departmental fund, which supports our student clubs (the Drake Math Club and WiMaCS -- Women in Math and Computer Science), aids faculty research, and fills other basic departmental needs, (2) our undergraduate research fund, which contributes to summer research projects for students and student travel to conferences, and (3) our technology fund, which will be used to enhance the computational capacity of the department, to develop a virtual reality lab, and to stock our departmental makerspace with 3D printers, robotics equipment, and electronics toolkits.
If you live outside the U.S. please please contact Pam Pepper at pam.pepper@drake.edu for more information on how to make an online gift. Thank you.
