Paul F. Morrison, affectionately known as "Mr. Drake," passed away on November 30th, 2017. Paul's legacy at Drake stretches more than 80 years. He had been connected to the University for nearly the entirety of its existence, as the son of two Drake alumni and as a student, staff member, volunteer, and friend.
Paul was ALL IN for Drake and led with love - love for his Bulldog Family and Drake University. He was an outstanding servant-leader in Drake Athletics for decades, including long after his official retirement. Paul F. Morrison left a legacy at Drake as the ultimate fan, selfless servant-leader, and passionate shepherd to our student-athletes.
The Paul F. Morrison Excellence Fund is used to continue Mr. Drake's legacy. Gifts to the Paul F. Morrison Excellence Fund gives our coaches and administration opportunities for professional development and continued learning experiences so they can be better coaches, teachers, and leaders for our student-athletes.
Thank you for your support to the Paul F. Morrison Excellence Fund. As the late Paul Morrison would always say, "We are All In this together!" and we are glad "You are All In this with us!"
