PR Professional Preparation Fund
Upon graduation, senior public relations majors in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication will now take the “Certificate in Principles of Public Relations” exam, a national benchmark designation in public relations for entry-level professionals. To successfully complete the exam, administered by the Universal Accreditation Board at Prometric testing sites nationwide, students must demonstrate a significant degree of knowledge of PR principles and ethics. The catch: The exam costs $l50, and the cost is prohibitive for many of our students.
Your generous gift will enable a Drake student to take this important exam and deliver a critical boost to her/his blossoming career. And, your donation will help continue to build the reputation of the Drake public relations program—a CEPR-certified program recognized as a global leader in public relations education.
The generosity of our alumni and friends has a direct impact on the university and our students. Thank you for your continued support of the Drake public relations program.
All gifts are made through a secure server. All gifts generate an e-mail confirmation as well as a gift receipt through the mail.
If you live outside the U.S. please contact Pam Pepper at pam.pepper@drake.edu for more information on how to make an online gift. Thank you.
